The Council Bluffs Guild of the Omaha Symphony takes pride in supporting the symphony in its efforts to introduce the wonders of orchestral music to 4,000+ southwest Iowa students each year. Their Board has grown this year gaining five new members: Arla Clausen, Kathy Dessonville, Timothy Dickmeyer, Jane Hokanson Hawks, and Alyssa Kohler.

OMAHA, Neb., December 22, 2015- Sweeping, tuneful works by American composers come together in the Omaha Symphony’s contribution to the Westward O celebration, I Hear America Singing, on Sunday, January 10, 2 p.m. at Joslyn Art Museum.
Singers from the symphony’s Christmas Celebration will be performing Christmas carols at the ConAgra ice rink for children from the Kids Café, a local after-school program. The symphony’s “snowman” character will also be at the event to skate with the children and provide photo opportunities.
