OMAHA, Neb., November 10, 2015- The Omaha Symphony announced today that the legendary Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will headline the symphony’s 95th Anniversary Gala concert on Saturday, May 14, 2016, 8 p.m., at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
OMAHA, Neb., November 9, 2015- From the thrilling chorus of “For unto us a child is born” to the majestic and triumphant “Hallelujah” chorus, the Omaha Symphony will present Handel’s Messiah with a nearly 500-voice high school chorus Sunday, November 15, 2 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
In some religious traditions, November is set aside to remember those who have gone before. Roman Catholics, for instance, observe All Saints Day on Nov. 1, celebrating Masses that honor people who have died over the previous year.

We are proud to help them raise awareness about the fight to end childhood hunger and are thankful for their support. Celebrate Creativity, a long-standing education program presented in partnership with the Joslyn Art Museum, took place last week from October 27-30. Over the course of the four days, nearly 1,500 middle and high school students participated in the program, featuring hands-on creative workshops, Joslyn gallery tours, and an interactive Omaha Symphony concert.
OMAHA, Neb., October 28, 2015- Funeral odes, lyrical laments, requiems, elegies, and threnodies: all are musical avenue to soothe grief, and the Omaha Symphony will present one such majestic work for mourning by performing Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, 7:30 p.m., at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
With a show title like “Keyboard Kings,” one might have expected the Omaha Symphony’s Saturday night tribute to four 1970s keyboard-vocalists to feature piano playing that, in Billy Joel’s words, “sounds like a carnival.”
