Introducing Enrico Lopez-Yañez, Omaha Symphony Conducting Fellow

The Omaha Symphony Conducting Fellowship is a new initiative developed for emerging conductors. A two-year appointment, the fellowship is designed to provide training and conducting opportunities for talented conductors with the Omaha Symphony. Enrico Lopez-Yañez was recently appointed the Conducting Fellow of the Omaha Symphony after completing his M.M. in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Maryland with Professor James Ross.

OWH: Omaha Symphony sees record attendance in 2014/2015 season

Close to 69,000 people attended symphony programs during the 2014-15 season, including the largest number of paying attendees (59,450) since the orchestra starting playing at the Holland Performing Arts Center a decade ago. Average attendance per concert was 1,369 — another record.
