Omaha Symphony Scores Big with Family-Friendly Symphony of Sports Concert
Omaha Symphony provides an afternoon of affordable family fun.
OMAHA, Neb., September 14, 2026 – Omaha Symphony to open their 2026/27 Family series at the Holland Center with Symphony of Sports, an interactive concert that is exciting for the entire family. On September 27, the Omaha Symphony, led by Associate Conductor Serena Reuten, will perform alongside iconic Omaha mascots such as Creighton University’s Billy Bluejay. All tickets for Symphony of Sports are $21 including fees. It is the perfect concert for families of sports lovers and music lovers alike!
Packed with interactive moments, movement, and plenty of opportunities to cheer along, this concert invites young athletes, music lovers, and their grown-ups to jump in, join the action, and feel the power of teamwork both on the field and in the orchestra. It’s a high-five-worthy celebration that’s sure to get everyone on their feet!
Pre-Concert Activities
Before each Family Series concert, enjoy fun pre-concert lobby activities, including crafts, musical instrument demonstrations, and more. Starla from the Omaha Supernovas, Stormy from the Omaha Storm Chasers, and Hoot from Union Omaha will join us before the performance in the lobby.
Symphony of Sports will be presented on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. Rehearsals will take place the weekend of the concert. Media is welcome to attend with prior notice.

Ticketing Information
Tickets for Symphony of Sports are $21 all-in including fees. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.omahasymphony.org or by calling Ticket Omaha at 402.345.0606. Student and teacher rush tickets are $10 and can be purchased 90 minutes before the performance. Performance dates are subject to change. In the event of performance changes or cancellations, the Omaha Symphony will email ticket holders to inform them of new dates and ticketing options.
