The versatile Ernest Richardson is in high demand as conductor, composer, arranger, organizational leader and inspirational speaker. His versatility finds him within one season conducting Stravinsky's Firebird Suite or Broadway artists in the works of Leonard Bernstein, a live-to-movie production of Harry Potter, facilitating strategic decision-making for leading arts organizations, or training young musicians for the passionate, persistent pursuit of perfection.
He has been at the forefront of symphonic video/live music productions, conducting live-to-movie scores of the Harry Potter series with CineConcerts, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Pirates of the Caribbean, Singing in the Rain, Casablanca, Ratatouille, Star Trek (2009), the Charlie Chaplin silent film The Gold Rush and Star Wars.May 2020 marked his live-in-concert album debut with indie rock band Guster on OMAGAH! for their live performance with the Omaha Symphony in collaboration with the MAHA Music Festival in February 2019. All are welcome to The RiverFront Fourth of July Celebration featuring the Omaha Symphony! This fun, festive and family-friendly evening in downtown Omaha returns to the Performance Pavilion in Gene Leahy Mall.
This concert will feature the Omaha Symphony, along with other performers to be announced. The evening will culminate with The RiverFront's spectacular fireworks presentation synchronized with live music. Come early to secure your spot on the lawn beginning at 3 PM.
There will be free sensory kits available for people with sensory sensitivities.
ASL/ADA will be located on the southeast corner of the Downtown green with fence and signage. An ASL interpreter will be right in front of that section with a spotlight
