Choral Collaborative

Sunday, November 10

Choral Collaborative is a one-of-a-kind program built upon the partnership of successful high school vocal programs and the Omaha Symphony. This unparalleled experience affords students the opportunity to perform world-class repertoire, work with professional soloists, and participate in an intense learning and rehearsal process with the artistic staff of a professional orchestra. This year, Choral Collaborative returns with Joseph Haydn’s majestic masterwork, “Lord Nelson Mass.” Originally titled “Mass for Troubled Times,” Haydn’s music is filled with virtuosic writing for soloists, choir, and orchestra alike, depicting struggles both personal and historical.

Congratulations to our 2019/20 Choral Collaborative Choirs: Bellevue West, Bennington, Blair, Creighton Prep, Omaha Burke, and Papillion-LaVista.
