Jordan Dinkins

French Horn

Jordan Dinkins joins the Omaha Symphony as Acting Fourth Horn for the 2023-2024 season, previously local to the Cincinnati area after graduate studies at Northwestern University.

Jordan has performed with the Cincinnati, North Carolina, Kentucky and Omaha Symphonies, Boise Philharmonic, Louisville Orchestra and the Britt Festival Orchestra. Her principal teachers include Denise Tryon, Gail Williams, Robert Rearden, and Frøydis Ree Wekre.

Honorable mentions include the International Horn Society Solo Competition, the Yamaha Young Artist Competition, and the Grace Clagett Rainey Prize in Chamber Music from the Peabody Institute, where she held the William and Lillian Hackerman and Mary C. Walker endowment awards.
