KVNO: Omaha Symphony and ‘The Carnival of the Animals’

Omaha, NE—Omaha Symphony will present Camille Saint-Saens The Carnival of the Animals tonight at the Holland Performing Arts Center. What was originally written as a bit of amusement became one of the artist’s most famous works.

Saint-Saens’ musical description of animals is accompanied by narration, which will be done by KVNO’s own Otis XII.

Wilkins also talked about the rest of tonight’s repertoire.

The Omaha Symphony Orchestra will present The Carnival of the Animals tonight at 7:00pm at the Holland Performing Arts Center. For more information or tickets, visit OmahaSymphony.org
