  • PRESS RELEASE: The Omaha Symphony, astronaut Clayton Anderson explore a Symphonic Space Odyssey

OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 9, 2015- With Maestro Ernest Richardson and Nebraska's astronaut, Clayton Anderson, at the helm, the Omaha Symphony will blast off from earth, travel to distant stars, and explore galaxies with space-inspired music and intergalactic visuals projected above the orchestra in Symphonic Space Odyssey, Sunday, January 18, 2 p.m., at the Holland Performing Arts Center.

Conducted by Richardson, this Family series concert will feature Anderson as the host, along with a technologically-gifted friend M.A.C.S. (aka the Musically Acclimated Computer System) who will serve as the chief navigator and occasional entertainer directing the two pilots, audience, and orchestra through the cosmos.
