As the largest arts organization in Omaha, the Omaha Symphony is not only vital to the cultural life of our community but to the economic well being of the region. By providing high-quality entertainment and educational opportunities for tens of thousands of concertgoers and students each year, the Omaha Symphony plays a critical role in attracting visitors and retaining Omaha’s workforce and population.
A recent study conducted by the UNL Bureau of Business Research found that the Omaha Symphony generated an accumulative economic impact of $45 million in Douglas County and an additional $36.95 million in the state of Nebraska (outside Douglas County) during the last five years. Last year alone, the Omaha Symphony’s economic impact was $8.88 million in Douglas County.
The Omaha Symphony is a nonprofit organization that depends on the support of local businesses. Each year, the symphony must raise nearly $3 million to fund ongoing operations that provide music and education programs for our community.
By partnering with the Omaha Symphony, your corporate support directly impacts the quality of life and the economic vitality of Omaha, creating a vibrant environment for your business to thrive. Your corporate contribution is tax deductible and gifts of $150 and above will receive special acknowledgement in our program book.
