Join the Omaha Symphony and assistant conductor Alejandro Gómez Guillén in a celebration of the Lunar New Year! We’ll introduce the Year of the Rabbit and celebrate the season, often known as “Spring Festival,” with works by Chen Yi, Li Huanzhi, Kabalesky, and Dvorak. The concert will explore each animal of the Chinese Zodiac and their characteristics with special excerpts that reflect each one’s significance.
This concert will also include crafts and an instrument petting zoo!

The Strauss Performing Arts Center (building 24 on the map below) is located on University Drive North between the Criss Library and the Milo Bail Student Center, parallel to Dodge Street. Parking lots D, E, F, and M are the closest options and will NOT require parking permits on the day of the event. View full map below.
