Dear Music Lovers,
What a thrill it will be to conduct the great Itzhak Perlman this month! This performance is a rare opportunity for all of us to experience a legend performing live. Undeniably the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Perlman will be performing works by Mozart, Kreisler, and even John Williams. This is not to be missed.
November features a double dose of beautiful violin repertoire. On November 13 and 14, the symphony delivers Mendelssohn's Masterpiece (his famous violin concerto). A romantic rollercoaster of emotion, its sweet, infectious melody might just linger in your head for days!
Finally, on the heels of Veteran's Day, our Patriotic Celebration will salute the Stars and Stripes with showstopping Broadway hits and classic American anthems. Hear favorites from 1776, Of Thee I Sing, Strike Up The Band, and more. Our debut Pops concert will make Americans of all ages feel good!
